Bah, it is a joy to play so it isn't a bother.
Really like the gameplay. Way more polished than Hades 1.

How well does it run? I used to play Hades (the OG) in my SteamDeck but never considered running it in my Odin 2 - maybe I should try it

It runs at 60 fps stable on my Odin 2 portal, with a bit of tinkering (opening the container, switch the resolution 1080p, launching the game, eating the crash, launching the game again, setting the resolution in the game menu to 1080p, setting to fullscreen, closing and relaunching the game) I managed to get it to play at 1080p. The only problem is that the sound is crackling sometimes. I do find the experience quite pleasing all in all. So I would recommend it.

I tried to get to stable 120 fps and I think with more tinkering it would work but I can't be bothered. Just want to play and it does play quite well.

120 fps works. Just need to increase the profile a bit. Really enjoyable. Great game. So much so that I don't even mind grinding back the hours lost. Really beautiful too.
