How to Track Play Sessions on OnionOS with RetroShelf
Install the RetroShelf plugin on your Miyoo Mini Plus running OnionOS to automatically sync every play session to your collection.
What you need
Setup
Enable Activity Tracker
RetroShelf syncs from OnionOS's built-in play activity database. Make sure the Activity Tracker app is enabled on your device.
Go to Apps › Package Manager › Apps (press R to switch to the Apps tab) and check that Activity Tracker is enabled. If it's not, enable it.
Download the plugin
Download the plugin and unzip it to get the RetroShelf folder.
Copy to your SD card
Copy the RetroShelf/ folder into the App/ directory on your SD card. You can use Samba, the HTTP file manager, or a card reader.

Launch and link
Open RetroShelf from the Apps menu on your device. A 6-character code will appear on screen.
On your phone or computer, go to retroshelf.org/link and enter the code. Your device confirms the link automatically.
Play games
That's it. Play any game and your session syncs to RetroShelf in the background when you exit. No manual tracking, no extra steps.
How sync works
The plugin reads from OnionOS's built-in play activity database and syncs sessions to RetroShelf at four key moments:
After every game
When you exit a game, a background sync runs as WiFi reconnects. You won't notice it.
On boot
Missed sessions from offline play are caught up.
Manually
Open the RetroShelf app from the Apps menu and press A to sync now.
Offline resilient
If WiFi is down, sessions are saved locally and synced on the next opportunity. Nothing is lost.

FAQ
Does the RetroShelf plugin work on the original Miyoo Mini?
The original Miyoo Mini doesn't have built-in WiFi, so it can't sync sessions. The plugin requires a Miyoo Mini Plus.
Does the RetroShelf plugin need WiFi to work?
WiFi is only needed for syncing. If WiFi is unavailable, play sessions are stored locally and synced the next time WiFi connects.
Will the RetroShelf plugin slow down my Miyoo Mini Plus?
No. The sync script runs in the background after you exit a game. It doesn't affect gameplay performance and finishes in a few seconds.
How do I trigger a manual sync?
Open the RetroShelf app from the Apps menu and press A to sync now. The app shows how many sessions are pending.
How do I uninstall the RetroShelf plugin?
To unlink, go to Settings on RetroShelf and revoke the device. To uninstall, delete App/RetroShelf/ from your SD card.
